Rochester, NY – February 13, 2024 – Another week, another report of mismanagement from the Bello Administration - the only difference is that with every new detail that comes out it becomes more and more clear that an independent investigation by appropriate authorities is warranted.
“I stand with our Republican Legislators, and even some on the other side of the aisle, calling for an investigation into this sketchy multi-million dollar disbursement of ARPA relief funds.”, said Monroe County Republican Committee Chairman Patrick Reilly.
“This is simple: either the Bello administration is so grossly incompetent that it pre-selected an organization that hadn't even registered its existence with New York State, yet now is somehow surprised by mismanagement, or there was potential bid-rigging on behalf of political friends and allies. In either case, our community deserves answers, and those responsible must be held accountable. This will only happen if there is a full and independent investigation into all involved in this alleged mismanagement of ARPA funds.”
