ABOUT JOE DINOLFO
Joe Dinolfo began his legal career in private practice representing clients in both criminal and civil cases and accepted conflict cases through the Monroe County Assigned Counsel Program. Since 2011, Joe has been employed at the New York State Appellate Division as an attorney representing cognitively disadvantaged individuals in both civil and criminal litigation.
As a first generation American, Joe’s roots began in the City of Rochester where his parents first resided after immigrating from Italy. Joe and his two sisters attended elementary School Number 43, while his grandparents and father worked in the local garment industry. Finding employment at Eastman Kodak, his family moved to the Town of Gates. Joe played soccer at Gates-Chili High School, where he as his sisters all attended and graduated. Joe continued to play soccer in amateur leagues for many years before transitioning to coaching when his daughters also became interested. As his daughters grew up he followed them to dance, lacrosse and volleyball tournaments.
Joe earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from SUNY Buffalo, a Law Degree at the University of Dayton and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration at SUNY Brockport. Joe lives in Fairport with his wife, Nathalie, and their three daughters and has served as a volunteer firefighter with the Egypt Fire Department for almost 20 years.
