NYGOP statement on the latest corrupt Democrat

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2014

ALBANY... The NYGOP today released the following statement after the Daily News reported that Democratic State Senate candidate David Denenberg stole $2 million from his former employer:

"It's ironic that the same day Eric Schneiderman announced an ad campaign that absurdly claims that he's cleaning up Albany, and the day after the State Democratic Party named a witness tamperer its Chair, another Democrat has been accused of corruption,"...

Letter from Bob Antonacci

Thursday, September 18th, 2014

In the State Comptroller's race, we have an opportunity to access between $1.2 and $4 million in matching funds.  Before we get there we must hit certain metrics, specifically 2000 donors and $200,000.00 in eligible matching funds.

"Every day, there are new allegations related to the Governor's involvement and interference in the Moreland Commission to Investigate Public Corruption.  And now, with the U.S. Attorney reviewing the entire matter, the Governor is using his campaign cash to pay for a high-priced criminal lawyer.

"Earlier this year, members of the Senate Democratic conference including Ted O'Brien, Terry Gipson and Cecilia Tkaczyk announced with great fanfare they were sponsoring legislation to ensure campaign funds could no longer be used to pay for any costs related to criminal or civil action, investigation or prosecution.  Mr. O'Brien even said, 'campaign accounts should be used to support candidates getting into...
